We aim to deepen our commitment to support families by understanding the challenges faced by parents in the modern world, to better assist new parents as they make important decisions in the first 1000 days of their babies’ lives and beyond.

In 2021, we launched the Nestlé Parenting Initiative (NPI).
This was kickstarted by a first-of-its kind, in-depth study of 8000 parents across 16 countries called The Parenting Index, which measured the ease of parenting, from navigating societal and financial pressures to juggling home and work life.
The Index points to how employers, governments and broader communities can start to come together to address the challenges that parents are facing today in order to provide them with the help they need to focus on the task at hand: raising a happy, healthy family.
